Sage is a very special addition to our kennel. Her mother, Mikah, belongs to our dear friends Nick and Trudy Fotiades of Black Canyon Akitas. Mikah came from one of our favorite litters. The Dam was our Annie and the sire was Fotiades' Hunter. We picked Rusty from that litter and they picked Mikah. Both went on to become Champions. Mikah achieved the Register of Merit (ROM) for producing 5 or more Champions.
When Nick and Trudy told us that a female puppy was available from Mikah's final litter, we just had to have her. It was even more enticing that the sire was "Stony",Ch. Timbersky's Rock and Roll. Our Annie (Mikah's mother) was from Timbersky. Sage exemplifies the best qualities of both lines. She is as sweet as her mother and has the gorgeous head and face of her father. She also inherited beautiful fluid movement from both. Her temperament couldn't be sweeter,and she is the whole package when it comes to structure and movement.
Sage is absolutely a "Daddy's girl". She worships her Daddy and the feeling is mutual. Tom just melts when he looks into that incredible face of hers. If she could, she would spend all day standing up on his knees peering into his eyes.
